I'd like to be able to set the time at a specific point in the trace to a given time. This will allow me to easily compare event times between the logic analyzer and other test instruments like a Scope, USB analyzer or USB-C PD analyzer etc.

At minimum being able to make a specific epoch the 0 time reference would help.

Would also be helpful to have an absolute timestamp (so that the time at the start of the capture equals the unix timestamp of when the measurement started), then it could be compared directly with log files from other software without any setup.

I have a feeling from other discussions that that is already happening under the hood and may be available to HLAs (High Level Analysers). That's not immediately useful to us, but at least hints that there shouldn't be big technical challenges for Saleae to do this stuff.

The time should be 0 seconds at the trigger point, so that it possible to see for example the startup time immediately.
